Hypatia Ward
Hypatia is the much younger sister of Ibis Ward, almost a generation difference. Their father was English, but Hypatia and Ibis both take after their Egyptian mother in terms of features and colouring. Both chose to make their home in Albion once Hypatia finished school, their mother and middle siblings are in Egypt.
Hypatia first appears as a student at Schola in Owl House when Ibis visits to do some research during Magician's Hoard.
She also appears in Chasing Legends during her winter holidays, and is briefly mentioned in Eclipse.
Thesan Wain considers her quite a competent Astronomy student, and she's a competent ritualist.
Hypatia's real gifts lie in Sympathetic magics and Materia. She apprenticed in both, and brings those skills to the challenge of Illusion of a Boar.
She has been extremely close with Cammie Gates (technically her niece by marriage, but they're within a few years of each other, that's ridiculous.) Both are devoted aunts to Susanna Ward, Pross and Ibis's daughter.
Magician's Hoard
Ibis Ward visits Schola during Magician's Hoard to do some research and check in on his sister. She also appears in the epilogue.
Eclipse
Thesan Wain mentions her briefly during the eclipse sequence as helpful, and other times as having interesting questions.
Chasing Legends
During Chasing Legends, Cammie Gates and Hypatia are at Schola over the winter holidays, enjoying the festivities with Ibis and Pross.
Illusion of a Boar
Hypatia Ward arrives for the project she's been assigned to without too many expectations, other than looking forward to working with Cammie. An expert in Sympathetic magics, she's going to do her best. She doesn't expect what will come from working with Claudio and Orion.
As The Ground Shifts
Hypatia appears in As The Ground Shifts in background (and a couple of scenes)
