Temple of Bahamut
These temples, found throughout the world, are well known for being quite accepting and helpful. They will allow people that are down on their luck to sleep in buildings adjacent to their temples, and many can offer some healing for a price. They will also attempt to heal those that are most down, but often the resources will simply not be available. These buildings still are a source of at least hope for many.
Their primary purpose however, is praising The Great Platinum Dragon, both in weekly services, special holidays, and the daily efforts of the priests, to ensure that the great dragon does not consume the wicked earth. They will also prosletyze toward non believers to live the way of bahamut and praise him, and to believers to renounce other gods and only worship the most lawful and good bahamut.

Purpose / Function
Their primary purpose is a place of worship, a large hall is used as standing room for praise during services, and as a place to rest for those down on their luck over night. The larger ones may have dedicated dormitories, but 80% are these rather simple, one large room and some nearby housing for the priests.
Architecture
They tend to be built of stone, though wood is not unknown. High ceilings with a large, silvery (though typically just an iron sheet) orb hanging on cables above the altar at the front is the common motif. During services the floors are bare and meant simply for people to stand and listen to the preacher. During the night there are thin straw matresses brought out to allow for at least some level of comfort for those seeking shelter. The most sick may be given one of a few folding beds.
