Repanu

This unknown language is found carved, in ten foot high letters, deep into the granite of a medium sized island in the worldocean, to the north of the corpse of Tiamaat. Written by some unknown peoples, and thought to be remnants of a pre slaying site when an expedition of Gnomish Airships discovered the island. Since then, a fair few interested parties have begun setting up camps on the island, supplied by those same airships, to discover artifacts and treasures to interest their sponsors on The Mainland.
The language appears to be entirely wiped out, with no living people contining to speak it. Some explorers suggest that the volcano may have triggered, but most assume it was just the slaying and fall.

Writing System

It appears to use some kind of large selection of symbols, at least 300 different ones have been found, but only around 70 are used commonly. The large, carved examples are made of straight lines and hard angles, while those painted within the many caves are more flowing, and hint at a logographic system or ancestry

Geographical Distribution

Found solely on the single island and its surrounding archepelego. The more detailed examples are mostly found within manmade caves carved into the side of the great volcano on the island, which appears to be dormant now. Some of these caves also contain artifcats made with incredible precision out of igneous rocks, capturing the flow of lava in their design.

Structural Markers

It appears to be written oxturn, as many symbols seem to be duplicated in mirror on odd lines. Otherwise there is no punctuation or other structure apparent in the text, except for a general lack of justification, and occasional horizontal line in the text, which may be another symbol.
