The Golden Age of Peace ended with a bang. The collision of lance on shield between Titan charging at full force should have been shielded by magic, but happened none the less…And the clash generated by the shock waves reverberated across the planes, triggering what has become to be known as the Celestial Concussion. The planes were knocked unnaturally into one another. This has formed new, unintended passages between previously remote places and planes, and not even the gods can fully comprehend the consequences. So, the Eldergods judged that the keeper of the balance, Primus, would oversee their decree for balance between Order and Chaos.

To track progress, Primus created a way to track the great accomplishments of order and the noteworthy failures of chaos to each of the pantheon gods and demi-gods, known as the Analores. Once the celestially accounting ledgers shows the balance between order and chaos is returned, the Decree will be fulfilled. However, were the Analore to indicate tipping too far into chaos, all out celestial war would surely be the result. But, it was to benefit of all sentient life to avoid that at all costs…right?
