Paragon Protector suits.
This armor was first proposed and put through R&D in 2235, only about 1 year after First Contact.
The Mk. I (this one) was first sent to select units, one of which containing Derec Kerouc, in order to see how they performed against the Cliv.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
This suit makes use of advanced nanites.
The nanites help regulate the body temperature, converting the excess heat given off into stored energy for later use. If applied to the outside of the armor plates, the nanites can provide a type of camouflage or blinding function, as they can be programmed to give off different colors of light in groups to create certain images.
The suit also includes a number of other systems, including a high-powered exoskeleton contained within the armor plates. Instead of boosting the wearer's strength by multiple factors, this suit actually increases human reaction times and speed by 500%.
It also has one main fusion mini-generator, with a number of backup Omni-directional wind conversion turbines. These 'turbines' spin as air flows through them during movement, the faster the better. Due to the increased speed of the wearer, these turbines are capable of generating enough power to provide a 20% boost in energy. Other energy back-ups include photoreactive solar absorption panels for solar power, and a number of fusion backups located in the legs, arms, and helmet in the case of main power shutdown.
