Declaration of transfer of the Holy Seat of Yppwenlas to Estain

To the King of Aistana, His Royal Council, and the Yppwenlas.

We, the King of Estain and Our Royal Council, seek the transfer of the Holy Seat from Dinurb O Lusgafn in Aistana to the Dinurb O Ortuadd in Estain. We believe this is the best place to represent our Goddess Irath, since her last place before her death lies in Estain. Thus to commemorate Her last restingplace before Her reincarnation predicted by Ptlomethia, We have built the City of Sunburst, a place that holds far more holy relics than the current Holy Seat of Yppwenlas.

If You think this is a plot to usurp the Holy Power, You are gravely mistaken, for I have been requested for several petitions from priestess across the country as well as priestesses from other countries begging Us to take actions against the current Yppwenlas who is a suspect of the mysterious death of the former Yppwenlas. Though these allegations have not been proven, the question of the Yppwenlas' character is still in the dark. We, the King of Aistana and Our Royal Council, thus proclaim that in order to put order in our Holy Church of Irath, the transfer of the Holy Seat is vital.

Should this declaration be denied We will take actions and remove the current Yppwenlas, and should the King of Aistana help the Yppwenlas, we will send a declaration of war to His country as well. Since the action of the King of Aistana helping the current Yppwenlas would be perceived as corruption of Our Beloved Church. Actions must be taken. Order must be restored.

Purpose

The purpose was to have the Yppwenlas's seat moved to Estain, so the holy city would be in Estain instead of Aistana. It would give more prestige to the kingdom of Estain, and serve as a centre of power for most human countries in Agia that have Lasfydd as their major religion.

Historical Details

Background

Though it is a matter of political, it is as much a cultural matter. It started as dispute of the succession from a Estanian Yppwenlas to an Aistanian, but have always been an underlying conflict between the two major countries. Estain have always tried to surpass Aistana in every way, particularly architecture. So the King of Estain in 873 AGD supported the idea that a new holy city should be built in Estain. The argument were that a last resting place for the Goddess @irath was missing, and Estain were the country in which the Goddess died in by the traitor Cailan Though never proven, the suspicion rose when the Estainian Yppwelas died under mysterious circumstances, and suddenly the Aistanian Yppwenlas were opposed by many priestesses in Estain and in some other countries as well. The King of Aistana supported her, and the declaration sent by the King of Estain were denied. It resulted in the one of the bloodiest war in over three centuries and is still very much active.

Though the King of Estain did not succeed in bringing down the Yppwenlas, he did not relent, nor did his son and his son's son. The struggle of transferring the Holy Seat to Estain is still in action as much as the war between the two kingdoms.
