Atlani Valers

The official currency of the Atlani United Empire, the valer is a historic monetary implement that dates back to the first Tribal Era, when all three breeds of Atlani finally met each other via the Devloni Dawngates. Trade was difficult for a long while before a Greystark, Brandon the Builder, the Eighth of the First Tribal Era, minted a coin that would change the history of the Atlani forever.
It was a simple thing. A high-carbon steel disc, about a 16'th of an inch thick and an inch wide, with a triangle enscribed on it, representing the union of the thre breeds. Modern Valers are triangular in shape, made out of a non-tarnishing nickel-iron alloy, with an Ahs, a Tah and a Dev in the four corners, and the value of the coin in the middle. Valers also come in a bill form, usually an extremely fine mesh of Aluminum, with one of the six Grand Heirarchs on it, with a famous quote from them and the words of their house. To this day, all physical Valer coins and bills are still made on Devlon, in Valervald of the Greystark Mountain Range.
