Grimsby

Grimsby the is only large city in the northwest, supplying all towns nearby with their food. It is inhabited by many of the Amethyst Faction, worshiping the goddess of agriculture Chauntea. Many stay in Grimsby for months to help with work and to defend against insects and blights that may endangered the farms. Hired guards and adventurers patrol the wall, ready to defend against attacks against Grimsby and surrounding areas. Young treants allied with the Amethyst Faction hide within the surrounding trees, preparing to defend Grimsby who graciously gives them a place to live. 

A large temple farm dedicated to Chauntea is located on higher ground than the surrounding fields and enclosing it is the wall of mortared stone. The outer wall is 60ft tall and 30ft wide with the inner wall only being 20ft tall. The wall is built out at many points with stone pagodas and barracks. These watch points are necessary for over viewing the open fields around them.  The entrance is located in the south and is a large stone gate house. Beyond the gate are dirt roads intersect the interior of Grimsby which provide passage between and through the fields and orchards. During harvest season, wagons travel across the fields, gathering the food and transporting it to cellars where it is kept until it is to be handed out to the citizens of Grimsby and other settlements. Nearing the outer walls are smaller gardens where plants such as rhubarb and parsley are grown.
