Aevum

Aevum is a world full of mysteries and hardships. It is a land devastated by wars, confusion and the hubris of its once great people, the Aevans. This great civilization rose to the brink of Utopia, but cast itself into the Abyss when they turned to Magicks forbidden by the Gods. They rebelled, and were victorious, but at the price that they couldn't apprehend. Decades later, the Gods that were once thought dead returned and with the last bits of their might stricken this world with a spell so powerful and great, that not only did it obliterate a quarter of Vetus and with it Arx and all her people, but in the coming weeks and months somehow wiped all of the Aevans of the face of the planet. Now the so called Peoples rule this dying land, as one of the suns that once brought life to the planet disappeared completely and now the other two are fading as well. Hope is all but lost, and the few beings that are on these lands are at each others throats like starved animals in a scrapyard. But in the deepest, darkest recesses of the earth some unknown Magicks are stirring, bringing forth change that may reshape the face of this land for ever.
