Aethmon

Comprised of the four known major regions of Cyn Lanod, Jorskunda, Saska, and Hoshumbe; Aethmon is a world of ancient mystery and dynamic politics. Empires, kingdoms and all matter of state seek control over the lands and resources of the world, mighty armies and sly diplomats are always on the move, but it was not always so.   In the early dawn of the world, the Gods were born. They founded grand kingdoms and cooperated with the Humans, but something changed along the way, many of the Gods became recluse in their heavenly bastions and hid their kingdoms away from prying eyes...   With the knowledge they received from the Gods, Humans began building their own societies and some began worshiping Gods of the Land, ushering in a new age of mortality and uncertainty.   But Aethmoth is a world not fully known, some lands lay hidden or forgotten to time, the wilderness of the world is yet to be tamed and holds all manner of secrets from the height of paganism. Stranger yet are the ruins of civilizations unknown even by the Gods that hold the darkest truths.   So while the humans live on in their kingdoms and the Gods abandon their duties, who knows what dark and terrible things may brew within the shadows, perhaps the cosmos itself will challenge the denizens of Aethmon...
