Aetheria

The world of Aetheria is a realm of magic, technology, intrigue, and conflict. Unlike real planets, Aetheria resembles two hollow hemispheres (or rather, "hemi-shells") with twin axle towers connecting at the center, the Aethereal Towers, connected the centers of the two halves. Life flourishes inside the shell-like bowels, while the "surface" of the world is unknown.   Prior to the War, all life-giving energy was supplied by Lux and Nox, shining forth from the Aethereal Towers in the center of the planet.   However, due to a cataclysmic event after the War, the Aethereal Towers is now broken in the fabric of space known collectively as an unknown realm now occupy much of the center of Aetheria. The two towers that were once connected is now divided by the two Aetherias, the Tower of Lux, and the Tower of Nox.   The light from a nearby star reaches downward inside Aetheria, illuminating the lower hemi-shell. However, little light reaches the upper hemi-shell engulfing it in darkness.   The current focus in the world is the bottom half of the hemi-shells, known as Luxtheria.
