Unexpected Allies

General Summary

After rescuing around 20 captives from the Gorria's hideout, the gang meets Royce, a young nobleman and would-be adventurer who offers to help the team escort the freed prisoners back to Freemont. On their way back to town, Gorria reinforcements attack the group, resulting in the deaths of several former captives. Enna runs ahead to plead for aid from the Elven enclave outside of Freemont, and returns to the group in just enough time to rescue them from slaughter. Arthion and Akin-Adaro both speak with Torendil, the head of the elves. Arthion talks about his dislike for the elven people as a result of his unhappy childhood as a half-elf among elves. Akin urges Torendil to work with the humans to confront the threats that he is certain are coming. Enna meets with a man whose wife and child were killed by the Gorria. Although destroyed by his loss, her blunt approach seemed to connect with him. Meanwhile, Hannibal appears to have formed a bond with David, the young man whose mother sent the group to save him. Most of the group will level up to level three at our next session, which we will role play out.
