The War in Heaven

Summary

According to human legend, the War in Heaven was a conflict between gods and demons that began with the arrival of the The Demon Moon in the sky, and brought the golden age of mankind to an end. As described in The Book of Tannis, the war boiled the sea and burned the lands, reshaping Aeryth and destroying the cities of the Aia.
The conflict ended when the half-human half-elf hero Marduk flew into the sky to confront the Demon Moon with a spear made of thunder and a sword forged from lightning and a net made from the silk of Ishata, the World Spider. Marduk bound the demon gods Rahab and Tiamat with the net and banished them to the Nine Hells with the greater part of their host, bringing the War in Heaven to its end.

Spread
