(Smol Blister)
In the great crater lies a giant asteroid which radiates a mystical power. This magic is so that it has permanently altered the life forms surrounding it. Resulting in several terrible and hideous creatures. The most know is a humanoid race of people commonly referred to as Blisters. Called so because of the hideous wounds and sores that cover their bodies. The magical stone has caused various mutations amongst them. Creating several variations amongst the species. Some are born small and feeble while others are great and large. (Akin to goblins, orcs, and trolls) Some may have extra limbs or a lack of.
They are a mostly tribal society that all worship the great stone that has caused them so much misery and deformities. all there is a division amongst their society. While most pillage and raid surrounding territories without discretion. There is a movement of Blisters that believe the great stone wants them to live life by a strict tribal code of honor. These groups are in a stalemate with each other and only agree on one thing. Which is mining the mystical ores surrounding the stones. For this they capture slaves. Most non blister races do not live long in the radiant mines. As their bodies seem to fall apart and decay from exposure to the stone. Some of these slaves turn into a bizarre mutants.
Unique weapons are forged from the stone which cause immense pain to those struck by them. These wounds also do not heal easily or at all. Non blister races that try to wield these unique weapons also become sick, mentally unstable, or develop odd deformities.
The other kingdoms view the blisters as scourge of the earth and wish to see them eradicated. Though, no army has been able to invade their homelands as they are naturally fortified by natural ridges and spines surrounding their magical meteor. Although the blisters are deemed unintelligent and savage they are brutal combatants and keen to strategizing ambushes and traps. The radiant aura also kills most outsiders within days.
There are rare occasions of blisters abandoning or being exiled from their tribes and even rarer yet are those that are accepted into non blister societies. These are usually tasked with some sort of job deemed to terrible ro disgusting for others.
Basic Information
Nearly all of these people are sterile and cannot reproduce naturally. They capture other humans and expose them to their Radiant stone which either kills them or mutates them into blisters.
