The people of Esperbrook fear the blight might one day reach them, and their pledge for help is to no avail.

Once again, the people of Esperbrook bumped into the Blight Woods, but it seems that is was much closer to the town than their forefathers have told.   Word was sent to Nouvemond as the people were afraid the blight might eventually reach them, but Duke Tacitus couldn't care less about Arcanopia's problems and dismissed them.
