The Morrigan

Three goddesses that are one, the Banshee Queens, the Morrigan are three sisters; Babd, the crow goddess, Macha, the sovereignty goddess and Nemain, the spirit goddess. The Morrigan are as terrifying as they are enigmatic, with most gods and worshippers both being unable to tell their motives or moods. They are drawn to places of disaster and the bad omens ascribed to both crows, nightmares and the black hound are all inspired by the appearance of the goddesses at sites of coming terror and calamity.
The Morrigan values rage, revenge, the acceptance of fate and the studies of omens. Being goddesses of both war, fate, and doom, rulers, whether they be kings or presidents, often pray for The Morrigan to bless their reign and, if shown proper deference and the right incantation and sacrifices are made, the goddess-in-three may come to the bedchamber of a prospective ruler. In some nations, a ruler is not considered legitimate if Macha has not come to share the bed of the would-be king. Other followers include soldiers and the vengeful and spited.
The Morrigan usually appear either as three human women, one in red, one in gold and one in black, or as a crow, a war horse and a hound.
