Ryujin

A stoic and disciplined god, Ryujin is the ideal of any captain. He inspires the crews of his vessels to perform flawlessly and he expects nothing less of himself. He is not single-minded, however, and enjoys a good cup of wine and rejoices in the companionship of his crewmates in the more quiet times. He is married to Marduk, the god of civilization and heroism.
He values loyalty, skill, and dedication as well as the spirit of adventure. Anyone willing to brave the unknown and keeps their cool in the face of adversity and the rage of storms is likely to earn his favor.
Ship crews of all kinds value his patronage, but captains especially send prayers in his direction. Barely any ship is launched from drydock without priests of Ryujin giving their blessings to the ship.
He is usually depicted either as a strong captain, standing at the helm of his ship, or as an imperial dragon, effortlessly braving the seas.
