Ystar The Balladeer
Ystar is a god of many things, most notably the patron of the arts and scribes. They are also the closed thing in the pantheon to a god of death and afterlife. In legends, Ystar became the first bard, recording and the story of the world. Ystar is said to tell the story of one’s life and to end the story as seen fit. This has led to the belief that a person’s life is simply a chapter in Ystar’s grand tale. Ystar is pictured as both male and female, normal indeterminate from ether sex. They are always shown with an instrument and a crown of leaves. Ystar is also considered to be the spouse of the goddess Mekate.
