Captain Eshan Lightmantle
Captain of the Deceit and notorious pirate of the eastern ring, Eshan Lightmantle is a truly menacing figure whose mere mention strikes fear into fellow seafarers. He is well known for his raids on the Tusnyan and Ostruan shores, and regularly attacked and looted merchant ships particularly of the Halcyon Trading Company. He also instituted a protection racket, safeguarding merchant ships for an exorbitant fee, and if they refuse he would attack them.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
He is a tall half-elf who wears blue and green robes emblazoned with eldritch symbols, his jewelry opalescent turquoise. His eyes are nearly completely white, shrouded by shoulder length black hair.
Specialized Equipment
On his feet are winged boots, which provide Eshan the ability to fly.

Personal history
Eshan was not always a pirate, but actually a son of a wealthy noble out of Aurelia. It was there that he learned seafaring at a young age, providing him the skills that subsequently caused terror on the high seas. He worked exclusively with the Halcyon Trading Company for years, learning trade routes, maneuvering through the ranks and captaining his own ship early on.

Religious Views
Although Eshan is an accomplished and practiced storm sorcerer and sea captain, he does not worship at the altar of Nelothien or Alar, but instead reveres Ettuna and her magical prowess. He is not a particularly religious man, but knows that the arcane has blessed him with immense power, and certain religious artefacts grant even more enhancements.
Wealth & Financial state
Over countless years of raiding and plundering, Eshan and his crew have accumulated vasts amounts of wealth which they have store discreetly within coves of several islands in the Stowe bay. There have been rumors that Eshan and his crew have amassed a wealth greater than some lords on the mainland.
