Enhanced Wizard School: Illusion

“Trickin’ stuff” (Illusion: a deception). Illusion spells deceive the senses or minds of others. They cause people to see things that are not there, to miss things that are there, to hear phantom noises, or to remember things that never happened. Some illusions create phantom images that any creature can see, but the most insidious illusions plant an image directly in the mind of a creature.

Apprentice (1st Level Spells)

  • Cantrips (Arcane Tradition Only): Action Image
Apprentice Magnum Opus - Illusionary Clone: You have 1x per INT Mod opportunities to make 1 illusory duplicates of yourself appear in your space. For 1 minute per spell level the duplicate moves with you and mimics your actions. The duplicate is intangible and can only make illusionary attacks. A duplicate's AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier. If any attack hits a duplicate, the duplicate is destroyed. A duplicate can be destroyed only by an attack that hits it. It ignores all other damage and effects. A creature is unaffected by this spell if it can't see, if it relies on senses other than sight, such as blindsight, or if it can perceive illusions as false, as with truesight. You may only have 1 duplicate out at a time.
Adept (2nd & 3rd Level Spells)

  • Unique Spells - Arcane Tradition Only: Juxtapose, Lesser Mislead, Bridge over Troubled Water, Object Invisibility
Adept Magnum Opus - Minor Polymorph: You have 1x per INT Mod opportunities to make yourself and/or your clone polymorph. The transformation lasts for 1 min per caster level, or until either of you drop to 0 hit points or die. This Polymorph is illusionary, the stats don’t change and the Polymorph won’t stand up to physical inspection. Nor do you gain abilities of the new form.   Expert (2nd - 5th Level Spells)

  • Unique Spells - Arcane Tradition Only: TBD See DM
Expert Magnum Opus - Improved Illusionary Clones: You can make your INT mod of duplicates at once. You can do this 1x per INT Mod per long rest. Otherwise this ability works the same as the original Illusionary Clone ability.   Master (6th + Level Spells)

  • Unique Spells - Arcane Tradition Only: TBD See DM
Master Magnum Opus - Master Illusionary Clones: Your clones now have ½ your hp. You can swap places with these clones as a reaction 1x per INT mod.
