-she's blind
-her family wasn't rich, but they weren't poor

-for three years she was just the blind gorgon fighter until she beat @WudgeYukgnth
-she quickly became a fan favourite
-during one of their rematches @WudgeYukgnth severed one of her tentacles
-after a long recovery, she decided not to return and to run for Sector lead instead
-it was a close tie but Thorlus won
-she's had a few struggles and conflicts but people seem to like her
-she now resides in @Yuesse, where she lives in the Leads quarter with her parents

Education
Because she grew up in @Currome, private tutors were expensive and hard to come by. So, her parents were forced to send her to the @GurlekInstitution. For the first couple of years, Thorlus struggled with her schooling, being the only blind student there, the teachers were exactly sure how to teach her. She found herself getting lost in class, the students would ignore her and some were even cruel enough to mess with her. But, as she and her fellow students grew up, things became a little easier for her. She never really had best friends, nor a partner, but she had a few people she could have fun with and talk to. Thorlus just barely passed school, her work far below average, but that wasn't necessarily her fault. Gurlek isn't well known for its astounding educational program.
