The Oprion blade

Every King has his crown. Every Soldier has their horse. And it's just so, that every revenge-seeking, widowed husband has a 28-inch steel blade blessed with the ability to join him in the after-life so he may butcher the soul who killed his wife. The Oprion has been at Griflyn's side since the year 217, a gift made by a follower of Mesrena to mourn her death. Griflyn had the blade blessed in the year 218 by an unknown source, and he will carry it with him; even in the event he may pass.
