Physical Description

Special abilities

Miriaan has manta-like fins attached to her arms which allow her to slow her fall or glide across the mountaintops. This does, however, make it hard for her to find shirts to wear. Aside from that, she's a skilled fighter, as she trained under her tribe's Threlik protector since she was small. She prefers to fight with the biggest things she can find and carry, currently a glaive that was made for her by an old family friend. Certainly not the exception here, she's quite skilled in divine magic, though she gets extremely embarrassed if she is complimented on this or thanked for things she does. She's also a very talented singer and dancer.

Personal history

Though she was born to a Rui family, Miriaan has always been quite the free spirit. She took more to her families protector than the family itself, and left the flock as soon as she was old enough to explore and see the world. Still, she stays with them a while on the occasion she runs into them, and always makes sure they're faring alright without her. After leaving, she attempted to settle down in New Ebbon, but found she didn't quite fit in there either and left once again for the road.
That's where she's been ever since, wandering from place to place. She has yet to find a place she truly belongs in, but she loves most folk she meets well enough, and helps out everywhere she can. She has never held any sort of job, and quite frankly she isn't sure what that is.

Motivation

Miriaan doesn't exactly know what she wants to do with her future, but she knows she wants it to be grand. After all, her mothers always told her the Divine has big plans for her. Perhaps she will defeat some great beast that was terrorizing Sella, or she will discover the origin of the shadem that roam the land. Sure, she doesn't know what it will be yet, but that's the fun of it all! Each new day is something exciting waiting on the horizon.
