War of the Kingdoms

The War of the Kingdoms was a brutal battle raging between all the Kingdoms on Acciphere. It started in the year 508. It was settled that they were gonna divide the land into kingdoms, according to the RESOURCES that would be found there. Everybody was happy, but the unforseen attack on the Laysium Kingdom caused wide panic. It led to a chain of events that eventually started the war.

The Conflict

Prelude

The war was started by the Laysium Kingdom on the Granite Kingdom when the King found out about how a bunch of people (later discovered to be the Sandbenders ) bombed a massive crowd moving into a temple to celebrate a festival. Their motive behind the bomb blasts was that their religion was being suppressed by the major religion (Sutiratism), so they decided to get payback. This eventually led to a chain of events that triggered the war.

Deployment

The Laysium Kingdom upped all its forces and power before it waged war with the Granite Kingdom. When it was finally ready, it declared war on the Granite Kingdom in 508 KE, on 7th Amaosat. As soon as it waged war in the morning, the Granite Kingdom began to strengthen its military, but it was already too late since the Laysium Kingdom had already broken down the borders and entered into the Granite Kingdom. Even though the Granite Kingdom managed to put up an outstanding defence, it was too late. The Laysium Kingdom had established its roots into the Granite Kingdom.
Hoping to get a quick profit from the war, the Ember Kingdom and the HamerVold Kingdom joined the Granite Kingdom and the Laysium Kingdoms respectively. They were both superpowers, and they gave each side a massive advantage. After some time, the Laysium Kingdom and the HamerVold Kingdom came to be known as the Federation and the others as the Force.

Battlefield

The battlefield was usually the borders of the Laysium and the Granite Kingdom, though the war continued deep within both kingdoms.

Conditions

As a result of the massive weapons used, a lot of the environment (both natural and urban) were destroyed, leading to a lot of global warming. Fortunately, both the countries replanted trees native to that region after the war was over. But in this time, an epidemic rose to the surface, with people having severe coughs from the weapons and vehicles releasing Hamervold Coal in excessive amounts.

Outcome

Short-term effects included the frequent change of borders between the kingdoms and lots of devastation everywhere. The amount of devastation showed radial symmetry; with more of it being around the borders than toward the center.

Aftermath

Long-term effects included the reformation of Kingdoms and introduction of stately powers for each kingdom.

Historical Significance

History didn't look down on the war so well. People always thought of it as 'unnecessary' and 'boring' but it was pretty necessary alright, or else we would have been stuck with a small number of nobles ruling a large amount of land.
