Palace of Prosperity

The Palace of Prosperity is the place where the Council Of Elders meet every day. It is located in Banswick.

Purpose / Function

The building was originally built as a Winter Palace for the Supreme Ruler of the Land back then but was handed over to the Council Of Elders . They meet and make decisions for the entire of Acciphere from this Hall.

Entries

There are three entryways, one for the general public, one for delegates and one for the Elders. The one for the general public is the most decorated. There are some secret passages to escape if necessary, too.

Valuables

The Palace of Prosperity contains various valuable items made by the Elders, like the Dagger of Perception and the Staffs of the Elders. Even their books are considered a valuable treasure since the pages are made of pure Adamnite Gold.

Hazards & Traps

There are no known traps, but the hall is protected by the Elites of Acciphere.

Special Properties

The hall was built in such a way that the king’s voice could be heard everywhere. This proved to be a plus-point for the Council, so when the Elders speak, their voices reverberate throughout the room as well.

Architecture

The palace is dressed with a cool-blue colour and a lot of Adamnite Gold tips. The inside of the palace is lined with smooth marble. The windows were designed keeping Earth in mind, so they are many references to different styles. Some examples include the Greek Domes, Indian pillars, etc.

History

The Palace of Prosperity was actually built for the purpose of a Winter palace for the king; They were pretty close to the mountains. It also functioned as the Winter Palace for a long time, with the Council of Elders taking over a single hall that existed to the very edge of the west wing. But after the War of the Kingdoms, the King handed the palace over to the Council of Elders.

Tourism

Various people can come to the Palace of Prosperity to listen to the Elders’ discussions, but they are not permitted to interfere in their decision-making or cause them an annoyance. These people are banned from entering when a private discussion is taking place. Photography and videography are also prohibited. Delegates may enter at any time with the permission of the Council.
