Abyss
The Abyss is...Well, it's a hobby
project with no real goal or end in sight. I
keep changing the entire basic idea like every four
months and starting over. Not a great way to make
a setting, is it? In any case, this current version is
under the assumption that it's a world for a role-
play setting.
Abyss is intended as a very game-like world
(some of its versions have it as an actual game,
such that either it becomes real or simply traps
the players. You know the genre.) and as such has
some mechanical ideas behind the world. This isn't
intended to be 'playable', merely to give a sense of
the rules the world runs on.
The main conceit of Abyss is the concept of worldlets and the void. Basically, the void separates lots of individual smaller 'worlds', and travel between them just started being relevant.
