Alafax's Feast

After the Wipeout of the old gods, Alafax, one of the 1% whom survived, had resorted to hiding on the Aitso Island called Terio, he had decided to embark his dogma once more. This is now referred to by Hobgoblin Traditions as Alafax's Feast, a ritual done by Western Aitso Hobgoblins, is done once per Year, where the native Hobgoblins to the area will parade around the island, finding great foods to feast on in Boatlandia's taverns and fighting rings. The culture has spread to Mainland in places like Erialla, and The Thevagon Isles for the closer regions. 

History

Alafax was once the official God of Hobgoblins, having created them after his own personality, to be fierce and glorious with their fortresses and combat. Though in his descent after the New Gods tore the old pantheon apart, Alafax made his powers become more grounded in a small island named Terio. It's thick jungles and ritualistic Hobgoblins made it a haven for himself. He had created an avatar for himself, in shape of a Stone Golem. He made his existence known to the Tribal inhabitants, who had granted Alafax the refuge he deserved. He was given a feast of the greatest meals provided in the lands, and was crowned the true ruler of Hobgoblins. Alafax then assumed a pose as the Stone Golem, and changed back to properly reside in the lands of Terio.

Process

Annually, the greatest chefs of Terio sacrifice their rest for a week to prepare food for Alafax. Their meals are mostly protein based, and involve great materials from powerful creatures associated with Alafax and Terio. There is always an Eye of Alafax prepared to be eaten at the ritual, alongside fine steak from wilder beasts on the island. After the Feast is prepared, it is rationed and given to the Hobgoblin People, who eat it whilst parading around about Hobgoblin Culture. They end the night by watching Fireworks created by Artificers of the Lands, who create new, spectacular forms of entertainment, including an interactable firework and an Arcane One, which was made with the spell Fireball. Often the halls of great Hobgoblin Buildings are filled with dancers and competitive eaters. Whoever the greatest of these eaters will be given the ability to feast on Alafax's Food. 

Notable Events

• One time, Alafax's closest followers had organised an island-wide march, which ended in the exploration of Boatlandia and the actions that made the Adadis Courthall to exist.
• Another Time, Sol Priests had attempted to change the tradition to involve Sol instead of Alafax .
• There has only been 3 murders during these events, all of which were the deaths of Sol Followers. 
• The Stone Statue of Alafax has become Accompanied by Rallaster's Bladed Statue, and both Co-Exist to watch over the thick dense jungles. 
• The Lizardfolk who worship Rallaster has began to also celebrate this holiday, in return for the construction of Hema-Hospices.

Components and tools

The Prime Components has always been fast paced Music, mainly with a Panflute, with sparring equipment and fireworks being most common to find lying around Alafax's Festival. They wave a pole stick to set off these fireworks, and most of the time, these fireworks were imbued with reusable gunpowder.
