Personal history

Being the eldest son in a family with 5 children, he soon became the heir of the family business. A smithy started by his great grandfather. When Joe's father passed away when he was just 14, he took over with the knowledge his father taught him. A few years later he married a local girl by the name of Gina. Unfortunately they were never able to conceive.

Education

He never went to school. The only education he gained was from his parents and the alleyways of Bilkin.

Contacts & Relations

After his father's passing every business dealing fell onto him. That also included the secret dealings concerning his father and a group of bandits, who prey on caravans and burgle houses in the outskirts of his town. He secretly provides them with weapons for their endeavors, while they pay him a healthy amount and keep away from his shop. These bandit attacks also provide a sufficient flow of townsfolk looking to buy weapons made by Joseph, as he is the only smith in town.

Family Ties

Because none of his siblings knew of the secret dealings, he quickly tried to cut ties with them. Some stayed in town, while others left in search of a better future for themselves.

Religious Views

His family was never religious, despite the majority of townspeople following Hetrog, the Aspect of Prosperity. Though in later years, after many failed attempts to conceive with his wife, he started to pray to Goja, the Aspect of Fertility.

Wealth & Financial state

Because of his double dealing, not many know how wealthy he actually is. In a few years time, he plans to sell the smithy and retire with his wife.
