Nurking-Unhizy Shipyard
Nurking-Unhizy Shipyard was a shipyard and manufacturing plant that built large-scale skyships. It was initially built and owned by South Star Lines, but when that company failed, it was sold to the Dawn Industrial Company. When the Dawn Industrial Company was broken up by the Ecleinian government, the splinter company New Dawn Engineering acquired the property and used it to manufacture ships until 1926, when the Ecleinian government ceased purchases of the B-162 CXD bomber-ship, which was the primary skyship manufactured there. New Dawn Engineering abandoned the property, which was located in the Ecleinian far north, and it stayed abandoned, until Gaspar Panchiss acquired the land and turned it into a manufacturing base and military center for the Umbraion.
During the Third Dark War, Panchiss used Nurking-Unhizy as his primary headquarters. The base was also used to build and repair ships, and was the meet-up point for the Umbraion fleet after their defeat at the Battle of the Revonsian Salt Flats. The base remained hidden until the Ecleinian Resistance located it and launched a sneak attack, which decimated the Umbraion forces. During the battle, Resistance forces dropped plasma bombs on the base, effectively destroying it completely and leaving nothing but rubble. The Umbraion was forced to flee, and the site was left in ruins.
After the war, Bailey Tracker and his companions (most notably Jessica Colwick and June Sowager) would visit the site and explore the rubble.
Infrastructure
Most of the infrastructure was designed for manufacturing. When Gaspar Panchiss took over the facility, he upgraded much of the machinery to produce weapons. He also installed barracks and military infrastructure, including defensive systems. These ultimately failed to prevent a Resistance attack, and practically all infrastructure at Nurking-Unhizy was destroyed in the battle or in the plasma bombing that followed.
Geography
The base is located in between two sets of mountains, which serve as natural shielding. The valley between is where Nurking-Unhizy is located, and it also has access to the sea towards the east.
