Aaestral

The world of Aaestral is a place of constant change, beauty and most importantly, Magic. The people of the four races, Humans, Dragons, Jogun, and Dratchkin, are forever locked in a constant struggle for power, superiority, and survival. However, there are those among them who seek an end to the fighting and suffering, to bring about a new lasting peace but they are not without their own struggles. Long ago, the Divines crafted the world and all within it as a testament of function and beauty, bringing about the first traces of their all-powerful magic with their first children, the Dweomer. But for reasons yet unknown, both the Divines and the Dweomer vanished, leaving only the colossal stone works and cities of the Dweomer behind. Eventually, the other races in their own lands discovered these ruins and the secrets of their magic locked within. Thousands of years later, the Divines and the Dweomer are little more than myth or legend, only spoken of by those who still believe. Now, the Human kingdoms are at war with the Jogun Dominion with the Dratchkin tribes stuck between them, all the while the Ori Empire across the sea watches and waits. All the while, dark and sinister forces lurk behind the scenes, biding their time and gathering their power.
