Manpower

The terrestric infantry squad is the standard infantry formation used by the The Alliance of Terrestric Forces. The squad consists of 12 soldiers, divided into two six man teams. The first team is the command team, consisting of: The squad commander, the squad medic, one marksman, one drone operator and two rilfemen. The second team, the heavy weapons team, consists of two machine gunners and 4 riflemen of which one carries a rocket launcher. One of the machinegunners is usually the squads second in command.

Weaponry

Every team member, except for the machine gunners is armed with an assault rifle. Additionally there is one rocket launcher and other weapons depending on the type of mission the squad is facing.

Vehicles

The squad is mostly based in lightly armored vehicles. Depending on the type of vehicle there can be a driver, gunner and/or radio operator attached to the squad. In some cases the heavy weapons team is mounted in modified heavy exosceletons, in this case the squad is classified as a heavy infantry squad.
