After the tremendous losses experienced after the failed attack on Tolkeen, Free Quebec secedes from the coalition
Free Quebec had refrained from taking a more active role in the attack on Tolkeen. When the forces were defeated, they annouced their secession and sent their navy SAMAS and Glitter Boys to ChiTown to ensure their security. . The returning Coalition Navy and Marines engaged the Quebeqois forces and beat them back. The Navy and Marines ceased to exist as a militarily significant force after this, however. . The Tolkeen counterattack through the Free Lands north of Chi-Town was repulsed by the forces of Free Quebec, who had no interest in seeing ChiTown destroyed. . The Coalition has no recourse but to acknowledge the independence of Free Quebec and is left licking its wounds after both defeats.
