Campestria

Endless space, fertile ground, the best horses in the world and enough war to last you a thousand lifetimes. Just like home ain't it Adeon?
— Victarian to Adeon Vargan
Framed by the roaring currents of the mighty Kefran to the north, the endless expanse of searing sand dunes that is Harenara to the west, the sky-piercing peaks of the Dusk Wall to the east and rugged wilderness of Venegara to the south, lies Campestria. The Greenland as it is known in the common tongue. A vast grassland, with rolling hills and rippling rivers.

Sea of Grass

Campestria 1
With soil as fertile as Campestria's one might expect to find all manner of plant life here. However with the exception of grass, wheat and the small and sturdy Cypris nothing seems to flourish. For the most part, the vast expanse that is the Greenland is covered in grass with large fields of wheat found around settlements and trees only grow among the rougher hills of central Campestria.   Cities do not exist here. Only hillforts, as the land is an eternal battlefield, contest by various outside powers. The Hijin use the land as grazing grounds for their horses and have repeatedly burned down entire nations to keep the area free.
Afran's Spear

Towering above the expanse are the sharp and rugged mountains of Afran's Spear. The legendary progenitor of Campestria that contained Nykara's Grief and erected the mountains as a threat to the goddess. Rising a thousand meters over the ground, they are the origin for the multitude of streams and rivers that water the land.
Nykara's Grief

A massive caldera formed in ancient time, now the worlds greatest lake. Called an ocean by some it is rich in fish and continuously replenished by hundreds of underground rivers. The land around it and the smaller lake known as Amara's Tear, are home to the greatest part of the Campestrians, whose cities cling to the shores while the northern plains are fought over by Hijin, Auronians and Ferans.
