A Heart's Bond

Not so long ago, actually just the other day, in a galaxy not unlike this one, because it is this one, many great races rose out of the primordial ooze and attained the wondrous ability of space flight.   A great war rages between two of the species, brought about by ancient grudges and hatred, and it is spilling over onto the other species. Caught in the crossfire is a sentient felinoid species, the Mrr'tani. Telepathically linked to a single collective with individual minds, the Mrr'tani has been subjugated by a race they know only as "The Masters."   Little by little, the Mrr'tani, beside their new friends and allies, are working to free themselves from the reins of slavery.
