They have to be accepted by the people of their region and they have to be born into nobility or won the region by conquest.

Appointment

There is a ceremony that takes place where the newly appointed king needs to be taken to the shrine of Zeus and have a crown placed upon their head. They also have to say their duties to their region and the city.

Duties

Their duty is to their people and only to their people. which means that they tend not to worry about other nations unless it has implications to their own country. They need to form alliances to keep the peace however that is not always possible. ()

Responsibilities

Most Kings take care of the taxes but others have special people that look into taxes to keep them at a good level. They must be willing to go to war for their region and are ready to die for their country. Most Kings don't take the responsibility of small things to do with their city or kingdom and tend to leave it to the capital's council. However, some like to have all the power and don't have a council.

You have the final decision in the council, if there is one, and you have compleat power to rule over your region as you see fit. You also have access to the keeps vaults and all of its contents.

Accoutrements & Equipment

You must wear the Crown of Kings which is gifted by a Cloak during the crowning ceremony. There are robes for different occasions but nothing else that you are forced to wear.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
