In the previous year I aimed for 10k words and ended up with 17k words. This was much more than I expected, but still a bit off of the 25k for the next badge. For this year I will again aim for 10k and see where the journey gets me!
In addition to writing I will try to read more this year. My goal is to read one article per day selected from my notifications or from the Discord channel.
Articles to Write
Like last year I made a list of all the articles that are stubs in my world. This list will be the basis of my work for World Ember.
Organizations
The biggest group of articles are the organizations. These are the core of this setting. My plan is to fill in as many of them as possible with 500 - 1000 words each. With 14 articles total this might already put me to the 10k words for the challenge. Each organization should have the following elements:
Opening Quote
Short Introduction
Structure
Public Relations
Sidebar Info
Persons
There are quite a few character articles waiting to be written in my world. My goal is to write 300 - 500 words for a character article that I do. They have lower priority than the organizations however. Sections:
Introduction Quote
Their Role
Personality
Abilities / Skills
Other
The rest of the articles with a different template are fillers. Some of which I am not even 100% I really need an article for. I intend to use them as fillers if I don't know what to write on the others.
Dang. You have a whole table of stuff. I'm going to have to figure out how to do that - and how to do the cool two column thing you did. I think you're going to hit that 10K for sure!
haha yeah, that table is a list of things I've created stubs over the last year :) I am pretty sure I will! Happy worldbuilding to you too!
