When I found him he was ... broken. But even then I saw potential in him and I think he has proven me right every day ever since.Valentin is a stoic man of great passion and patience. He is known for his kindness and empathy. All the orphans of the orphanage come to trust him, eventually. Working at the orphanage is everything to him and he gives everything to that work. He takes great pride in his role as a caretaker while staying humble and always attempting to improve.
Description
Valentin is a tall, white man with broad shoulders and an athletic build. His appearance can be quite intimidating to people who do not know him. He always wears a smile on his face, which is framed by his black beard and long, slightly curly hair. Keen observers can see small, faded scars and remnants of various tattoos. Many tattoos cover Valentin's body. The largest is a dragon Tattoo covering his back. It depicts a western style dragon with large wings, scales in black and grey ink. The dragon covers up many older tattoos. Valentin dresses neat but practical. Working in the orphanage is chaotic and his clothes often suffer some damage or become dirty each day. His cloths cover all his tattoos to hide them.Supernatural Ability
Valentin is a sensory Empath. This means he can sense and understand the emotions of the surrounding people. The abilities expression is very weak. He has to be very close to the person and has to spend several hours of time with them to read their emotional state. I have never met a man more dedicated to his charges than Valentin. We truly are his family and he will do everything he can to make sure we are safe and well.Valentin has cut all ties with his birth family. He considers the staff and the orphans as his family now. Everyone who knows him respects him. His kindness together with his ability makes it easy for him to create a connection with anyone he meets. All the connections he makes are important to him, which makes him truly authentic in all his actions. Valentin grew up as a Catholic and still finds comfort in his faith. He goes to church every Sunday but is very private about his religious views and rarely shares it with others.

Valentin has very little formal education. He barely passed mandatory school in Macedonia. Everything he knows, he either learned himself, from his mentor or his peers.
