Paragon of Harmony

A title given out by a sect of Eirinism. This is the highest honour given to someone who has shown great virtue in the tenets of the faith. They also need to have various accomplishements in creating or keeping peace between peoples are to improve harmony with nature.   The title is only given out to someone who has truely earned it. It was first established in the fourteenth century by a guru of the faith. Today the title is awarded at the Annual World Peace & Harmony Conference. Though this title is not given out annually unlike other honours.   The title has been given out to no more than twenty individuals. The latest carrier of the title is Archdruid Jemma Galloway for her accomplishements in ending the violence of the Second Adirondack War and her help establishing the Adirondack Park Alliance. These actions have reduced the violence committed in the Adirondack Mountains greatly.   The title comes with a medal to be worn for ceremonial occasions and a ring that shows everyone who is aware of the title that they are a Paragon of Harmony.

Duties

There are no explicit duties associated with this title. However, anyone carrying this title is expected to live a life in harmony and to the highest standards. At least when conducting themselves in public.

Rights

The title gives the bearer extensive rights over the faith and many of its sect. The authority of the title bearer is honoured by most sects of the faith and will execute any command to the best of their ability.

Impeachment

As this title is only awarded to those that are most virtuous the title can be easily stripped. All it takes is an official accusation of harming the harmony or peace by a high ranking member of the Eirinist faith. The carrier of the title then gets a chance to prove his innocence of the accusations. The trial is judged by a tribunal of harmony. The tribunal consists of one member chosen by the accuser, one member chosen by the accused and one member chosen by lot from high ranking officials. The tribunal then decides to either strip the accused of the title or let them keep it. So far it has only come to an accusation once and the accused was found guilty.
