Vasiona

The world of Vasiona is ancient and mysterious, spanning four distinct historic ages. Recorded history begins some 10,000 years ago, though there is evidence to suggest that there are some civilizations and cultures which predate even that. There are six distinct continents on the planet, though one has been destroyed, and shattered into what is now a large archipelago. The biomes present are as diverse and varied as they would be on any temperate planet, but the abundant presence of magic has altered many portions of the landscapes and seas of the world irrevocably, and as such, much strange geography exists that would be unrecognizable to contemporary humans in the real world. The world seems to shift and change at random sometimes, owing to the whims and needs of its gods. Whole settlements and geologic formations appear and disappear, portals to other worlds and universe manifest in and out of existence, and anachronisms continually appear and disappear.
