The Lyceum Repository

The Repository is the rock upon which the Lyceum and their strict neutrality is built and maintained. A central guildhall existing within the borders of any of the five core societies would immediately raise suspicions of bias within the organization so its true location is one of the most closely guarded secrets in the world. It exists both within and without all five nations simultaneously and thus no bias can be inferred by any of them. Accessible by Lyceum members via special gateways in capital halls, there is no faster way to travel between capitals than the upper halls of the repository short of advanced teleportation magics.
Home to the Guild's central vault/bank some of their greatest and/or most dangerous acquired treasures are locked away for safe keeping. Additionally any arcane member who invests in the guild's Tome Insurance service will see the duplicate of their spell book kept here should harm ever befall the one they keep on them.

Purpose / Function

The Repository is the central guildhall for the entire global Lyceum organization, as the capital halls coordinate major, minor halls and affiliate inns the repository coordinates the capital halls and is home to the leadership and highest ranking members of the organization as well as many resources such as the guild central vault, the guild central library and more.

Architecture

Reminiscent of an Ivy league college, or a British university like Oxford and Cambridge. Everything feels old but is in pristine condition with exquisite craftsmanship. Lots of long hallways, and large central chambers with massively vaulted ceilings that carry the echoes of words and deeds high into their rafters. The layout of the facility is straightforward once you learn it but quite labyrinthine for newcomers and would be intruders alike to help thwart an incursion should anyone ever prove foolish enough to attempt one.

Tourism

No one outside of the Lyceum has ever knowingly set foot inside the Repository, they don't run tours lest the true physical location be discovered.
