Unified Era

The Unified Era, also known as the Pax Stellarum, is the present historical era following the foundation of the Stellar Compact.
It is characterized by economic prosperity and the absence of major wars, credited to the Compact's ability to regulate the interstellar political system. Some thinkers describe this era as the best period in human history, on account of its high technological advancement combined with a robust international governance system to keep coflict at bay.
