The Grand Palace of Mosat
The ruined palace of a once powerful kingdom in the sands of The Great Tentottan Desert.
The Grand Palace was home to the royal family of The Kingdom of Mosat and served as a living space for visiting nobility and their serving staff.

The palace and surrounding structures were destroyed by the Elite Rassalian Guard during the war of Rassal's Revenge in 483 2A after Mosattan spies poisoned the trade guild master of Rassal with potent suluca poison in his wine, causing a violent death that sparked one of the shortest wars in history.
Long since abandoned, the grand palace has now been reclaimed by The Mosattan Jackknives and serves as a headquarters for their operations. The fountains have all dried up, but the remaining walls have protected this grand structure from being swallowed by the desert sands.
Architecture
This grand palace served as a paradise-in-a-building. Jewel of the sands and oasis of The Great Tentottan Desert, the palace had luxurious bathing pools and carved fountains. Potted exotic plants adorned every corner and a cool wine cellar deep below the sands held treasure some valued more than gold.
All of this was lost when the the Elite Rassalian Guard raided the palace, murdering every Mosattan in sight. Fountains turned red and walls crumbled into chaos as the army swept through the rooms like hungry magpies - stealing any shiny treasures that took their fancy.

This sounds like it would be fun to explore (in a roleplay setting, not in real life, lol). I would love to have seen it back before it was a ruin.
