Technical Drawing

An elitist hobby that involves accurately drawing complicated things.

A subculture of orderly arts, technical drawing has become an elitist nerd-club of artists who specialize in technical drawings, blueprints, and perspective drawings.   All drawings are crafted using fine tools like mechanical pencils, steel rulers and grids. The methods of drawing have many rules to follow and angles to abide by, but the final results are quite literally perfect.   Perspective drawing has become a hot topic, as using three or more vanishing points can create dramatic distortions that make buildings look chaotic and wrong, even though technically they have been drawn correctly.   Artists gain notoriety by drawing the most complicated architecture and objects in perspective, such as organic objects and spiral staircases.
