Orlendian Coming of Age Traditions

A person is considered of age in The Isles of Orlend when they become twenty years old. Traditions on this day mostly involve presenting the individual with useful tools, or memento moris that will help them throughout their adult life.   Common gifts include:

    • a pocket knife
    • a pendant of The Originator's Order
    • a new Journal
    • a memento mori (often a coin)
    • tools for their trade
    • a quality pair of boots

These gifts are designed to last them for many many years.
