Chapter X: Discovery
General Summary
With a whir of gears and glow of magic, Lunny reawakens with no recollection of the incident with their core and the creature seemingly confined within.
As the needle repeatedly pierces your skin, you expect more pain, but is surprisingly manageable. The ebbs and flows of the design work in with the natural curves of your body and accentuate its features as Gideon's surprisingly steady and dextrous orcish hands glow with incandescence as orcish words are chanting from his tusk-filled maw.
After discussing the incident, the sounding of a great horn is heard coming from outside the college. Zaggok notes that the horn marks the Day of Discovery, a holiday celebrating magical accomplishments across the world. The students proceeded to head outside to investigate, but not before attuning to their new magical items. While preparing for the festival Moddy presents Lunny with a silken robe and a new leather cloak to replace the rags they once wore.
As soon as they make it to the festival, our three students scatter in all manners of directions. Viska goes off to eat, Xini runs off to go ice skating with Zaggok and Moddy, and Lunny begins browsing the bazaar. While this occurs Viska is met by a mysterious identically dressed halfling by the name of Nem. Who offers Viska her power should she help her find her daughter; a halfling by the name of Lidori. The deal is soon sealed with an ominous handshake.
After perusing and purchasing their various magical items and new tattoos, the three make their way into the halfling district of the Frosthorp. There are many games and festivities set up. Stands with folks gambling with dice, people arm-wrestling with the assistance of magical items, and a long-time game called "Catch the Sprite". Something triggers in Lunny as they are drawn to the game and burdened with flashbacks of what they remember as a horrific experience. Lashing out, they lunged at the man, choking him nearly to death. Coming to, they realize their mistake and walks toward the College gates.

Sig, Kaz, Dolphy, and I play the DnD5e Campaign called Oops! All Wizards where they go through the process of graduating from the College of the Frozen North and all the trials and tribulations that follow. It is a heavy roleplay game involving eight students, one from each School of Magic!

Mondays & Wednesdays nearest to a holiday might have a special game run by our very own Dolphy! Enjoy the whimsical Adventure of Bits as three heroes attempt to share a single braincell while protecting the land from the holidays!
