She is desolate
She is the barren winter cold
The Raven Queen is not a true goddess. She does not dwell in the Celestial Plane, but lurks within Her fortress in the Shadowfell. She did not come into divine being, but ascended from a mortal soul. Her desires are unknown, and perhaps that is a mercy.
Few understand this wretched goddess, fewer still feel love for Her. She is feared for what She represents, and the unknown behind Her domain.
Divine Domains
The Raven Queen presides over the souls of the dead, acting as a guardian of the order of life and death. In this, she shares the domain of fate.
The Raven Queen is also the patron goddess of winter.
