Ice Tarantulas: Where do they take their bones?

Giant ice tarantulas which can survive for years frozen alive inside of the glaciers. They spin themselves webs inside of the catacombs of ice and they lie in wait sometimes for years for something to fall down into their web and then the spiders big and small will feast on the corpse of the wayward traveler.   The creepiest thing about the spiders is their keening song that they sing to lure prey into their webs. It’s a hypnotic trance that can really work on anyone, but it is especially potent on beings who have attraction to women. The song is actually the part of them that is singing to their god, the siren spider. This goddess was the one who taught them this song such that they would never be hunted by humanity ever again and instead be feared. This is how they came back from the edge of extinction by praying to her in their own hallowed temples. The temples are carved of ice and web with little wreaths made of bones for her they revere.   Their season is every season as they live now in an eternal winter. Their preference of prey is ten year old girls or women who are still in the first blush of youth as her bones can then be strung up as a perfect offering to their goddess. The vertebrae is nice and malleable as a belt. The tines of the ribs can be used as the legs of the god itself. Spun well with web and organics the statue will be nice and wasteless. The rest of the bones are upright and the arms and feet bones are used as appendages to hold the items which the holy hell has gifted them. There are eight gifts which the goddess has bequeth them.   A clear ball which to ask questions The eye of a mammoth long dead a thousand years A dragon egg A pearl from a far away place. The weapon of an insurgent The flute of a mourning scholar A tablet with 5 thousand books of lore A frozen flower which shall never be brought to light; it’s blossom hides a virus which shall ravage the living with the dead.
