Magus Pope Christian Elintio (a.k.a. Pope of Light)

Christian Elintio was the founder of the Spes Lucet, a religion that worships Sanctus, the Light God of Volo. He not only changed the world by introducing the Guardians, the physical manifestation of the Light God's pure Mana. But along with the High Magicians in the Mana Circle, he introduced the knowledge about the Volo gods' existence.

True to his title, it was said that he possessed a wide array of Light Magic such as exorcism spells and healing spells. Also, he possessed a large Mana reserve for a Human, making him one of the strongest Human magicians of that time.

Personal history

Originally from Orbis, Christian lived with his parents for about 6 years in a rough neighborhood enduring several attempted robberies and the corruption that formerly plagued the city. Despite this, he managed to find peace with his father's books about Volo's myths. It wasn't until when he was 12 years old when he had an accident involving several knights harassing his mother that caused him to knocked unconscious by them for 2 days. There, he said he received a strange dream of a deity approached him and used some kind of magic on him. When the vision ended, he could remember the words it gave to him: Sanctus.
After that accident, he noticed that he now has a large Mana reserve that allowed him to perform his first Light Magic in front of his parents. While he was confused at this change at first, he slowly realized that the deity from his dream, Sanctus might have something to do with it. With this, he became grateful at this deity has done and decided to use his newfound abilities and his savings to attend a magic academy with his parents' permission.

Education

Under his guardian's recommendation, Christian studies in Semita Magic Academy majoring in Light Magic.

Employment

In his 20's, he became one of the magician led by a Royal Magician who aided him in learning more about the Light Magic as well as sharing the same secret faith under Sanctus. He would later worked for an Insignis magician when he was 26 years old in an expedition where he and the other magicians learned more about the other Gods of Volo.
