Session 2
General Summary
Picking up right before the party returned to The Detroit Vacation: The party discussed ways they could confront Captain Cohen about the traitor onboard. They spoke Cohen quietly, only to find out that the dwarf that had radioed the bounty hunter, a man by the name of Gentry, had jumped ship in the night, not wanting to wait around to pick up the party. Said he had urgent business to attend to and couldn't wait.
The party, not sure where Gentry could have been headed, decided to ride with Cohen to the nearest outpost; an outpost called Lone Rock. Along the way, heading over massive sand dunes the bus got stuck. Clutch, being the only one to notice it, sees a ploom of sand erupting a ways off but coming straight for them and encouraged the party to hurry in there excavation of the bus. Just in nick of time, the bus in freed and begins speeding down the dune to safety as the dune behind erupts in the terrifying maw of a fully grown sand worm, many stories tall. The Detroit Vacation narrowly makes it onto the solid rock of the Lone Rock plateau and to safety.
Driving through and parking in Lone Rock, Captain Cohen states that he's going to be dropping anchor in Lone Rock for a few weeks, making repairs to the Vacation and hopefully turning a profit by selling his collected goods. But first! He need to get him some whiskey.
Most of the party heads to a seedy whiskey bar in town called Davie's Locker. Yuguri plays her shamisen and makes a good bit of credits in return. Quarrel shares some drinks with Captain Cohen, drunkenly blubbering dreams for the future. After hearing from the bartender that Gentry had been through town and spoke with the men that play poker at the bar, Talus sneaks outside, puts on a disguise, come back inside, and joins a poker game. After a few rounds, Talus wins a good bit of credits and information on Gentry. Gentry had come through town begging people to give him a ride up to the sinkhole and when no-one gave him a ride, he stole a buggy.
Back towards the edge of town, Clutch sets up a father son charter fishing trip with Crass. And once the trip is set up, Clutch returned to the party at Davie's Locker.
