The World Anvil Rebellion of 2022

It was the summer of 2022, the month of July to be precise. There was a website on the internet called World Anvil, that held world building competitions.
Every year they had prompts for articles of world building, things like 'Characters', 'Vehicles', 'Settlements', and the coveted 'Military Conflict', which Dhelian won every year.
A small lady by the name of Sable Aradia gathered as many Anvilites as she could to remove Dhelian in any way possible from the competition without killing him. She wanted him to witness his defeat in the 'Military Conflict' category. Gathering her troops she set about to devise a plan to ruin Dhelian.

The Conflict

Prelude

The announcement by Dimi for the military conflict article prompt for World Anvil's Summer Camp was the trigger for the rebellion. Most if not all Anvilites chose to find a way to defeat Dhelian in this article by any means necessary.

Deployment

Many participants of Summer Camp from around the world worked together to under the leadership of Sable Aradia to take Dhelian out of the competition. Sable in the mustering of her troops set tasks for people according to their skills. The names of all involved have been lost to the annals of time. As far as the history of the actual deployment, some were sent to cut his power, eliminate his internet connections, hack into his computer and corrupt his hard drive with viruses. Others were sent to distract him, get him out of his house and steal his computer on the off chance that everything else failed to succeed.

The Engagement

From the moment Dimi announced the prompt Sable's plan began. Her warriors began their covert actions and began distracting Dhelian and hacking into his computer(s). No one was sure whether or not he had back-ups such as a laptop or two. Someone got the bright idea to freeze his bank accounts to prevent him from purchasing replacements. By the end of the month Sable and her valiant crew were successful in keeping Dhelian from competing that year.

Outcome

Outcome Sable was able to see someone other than Dhelian win the 'Military Conflicts' category. It is not remembered who that was, whether it was Sable or someone else.

Aftermath

After his loss for the one year, Dhelian made sure he had the best malware and anti-hacking programs installed on all his computers. In fact he made sure to have several back-ups secreted away so he would not lose again unless there was actually a better article written.

Historical Significance

Because this conflict was not world changing all the facts about this engagement have been lost. The only information that is available comes from the journals of those who were alive and involved. This being stated there are only fragments of information available.
